OK, well…maybe a little. I know it’s probably some cheesy character defect of mine (Doug), but when I have a good time, see something happen in my life that has taken coordinated effort and passion…well, when good things happen because good people work toward making good things happen, I feel the need to recognize that. I will temper it a bit and not go into great and gory detail…thank you to everyone who made last night possible…yes, you!

All over this planet are people who have played pivotal roles in shaping the lives of our band…raised us, inspired us, taught us, pissed us off, spent time creating and destroying things with us…you taught us to love and hate, to push ourselves to do our best with whatever amount of talent we may have…you lent us gear, booked the show, purchased the free demos (!?!), wrote about us, made a video flyer or two mentioning us…you played guitar with us, played drums with us, took pictures at the show…you came to the show, played in the show, sold tickets, ran security, offered a venue, brought your P.A., commented on the site or Facebook…you talked to us after the show and told us what you thought.

It might not seem like a lot, but the things you did, combined with all the things everyone else did made last night really great for us! So, just know, so long as you’re doing the next right thing, you’re building new great events for the people in your lives! Thank you, again! Sorry, I guess I went into a bit more of a detailed rant than I expected, but I just want everyone to know I appreciate what you did and do.

Here are a couple of pictures from last night:
